Uh...What the heck is a HahnFlocker?

Noun: Flock of Hahns (Roosters).

A group flocking together to give love, money and support to those who are battling cancer. People with a burning desire to #FlockCancer! People who are empowered by community, giving and thankfulness.

I found a lump, dear...

Just 6 months after having a perfectly clean mammogram, Traci "WarriorFlocker" Hahn found a lump. Her friends and family, even casual acquaintances, flocked together with everything she needed - things she would learn later she needed but never would have known to ask for. A 7-year-old explained, without any knowledge of her diagnosis, but with fierce passion, that she needed a "fire-breathing-dragon-rooster."

The HahnFlocker was born.

Within weeks she learned of multiple close friends afflicted with various cancer diagnoses and realized the depth and strength of the Flock around her. As she embarked up the dark mountain of cancer's climb, she saw how many people go through this alone and how impossible it is to be prepared for "every day being a new day".

Traci is on the light side of her dark mountain and finishes her 13-month regimen in late August. The Beer & Taco 1K is one way she wants to raise awareness and give back to this accidental club that she didn't even know she needed. Traci is new to the "party", but The Rose has been doing this for over 30 years - knowing how much it takes to #FlockCancer. So please register, be a HahnFlocker and enjoy a Beer and a Taco while paying it forward.

HahnFlockers hope no one ever has to fight for their lives, but if you do, you are not alone.
