Medical Records Radiology Clerk

Job Description

  • Import electronic images/documents into our electronic health record/PACS.
  • Open all films/cd’s, date stamp, and sort appropriately to forward to staff load images into our electronic health record/PACS system.
  • Answer HIM department phone and respond to the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Assist in processing all requests for release of information from various facilities, entities, insurance companies, providers, and patients according to all HIPAA guidelines, federal and state laws.
  • Assist walk in patients and other departments for medical records requests.
  • Scan old paper records and films as directed to purge. This may include retrieving records from our offsite storage.
  • Maintain patient and company confidentiality.
  • Promote and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, coworkers, and providers.
  • Actively participate in department in-services, meetings, and educational opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Overall attention to detail, organizational ability, and ability to prioritize.
  • The ability to work in teams and communicate accurately and clearly.
  • Computer experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Preferred English/Spanish, but not required, in order to communicate with patients, families, and other caregivers.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Must have at least two years’ experience working in a medical records imaging environment.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Must have working knowledge of medical terminology.

Mobile Transportation Specialist

Seeking a qualified commercial truck driver, who is dependable and career minded to work as a Mobile Transportation Specialist. The Mobile Transportation Specialist is responsible for the operation and transportation of The Rose Mobile Coach to and from mobile events throughout Southeast Texas. In addition the position is responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, and maintaining documentation of vehicle operation as required by local, state, and federal agencies. Applicant must be 25 years or older with two years commercial driving experience. Applicant must possess a CLEAN valid CDL class A or B drivers’ license and must be able to work collaboratively in team oriented situations as well as have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Mobile Mammography Coordinator

Seeking an energetic and enthusiastic mobile mammography coordinator to join our team. The candidates must present a courteous and professional image.  The coordinator travels with the mobile van to various service locations throughout Harris County and a number of additional Texas counties to provide mobile mammography services to patients.  The coordinator greets patients, collects all necessary information needed at check-in and check-out, enters registration information into our systems, and helps patients qualify for special sponsorship programs offered by The Rose.   When working in the office, the coordinators make appointments, collect registration information from patients and complete the necessary follow-up activities after the mobile visit.  A high school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of medical office experience is required. Must possess basic computer skills and be bilingual (English/Spanish).

Tech Assistant

Seeking an energetic and customer-service focused medical assistant/tech assistant at The Rose Galleria location.  This position is responsible for escorting patients from the waiting area to the dressing rooms and providing pre-procedure instructions.  Responsible for stocking dressing rooms and procedure rooms each day.  When required assists physicians and techs with translation services (English/Spanish) during procedures. Assists with reminder letters, reminder calls and other clerical duties as required. Will assist Doctors and technologist with stereotactic and ultrasound biopsy procedures.  Responsible for daily stocking of all exam rooms, scheduling screening and diagnostic procedures.  Requirements:  High School diploma or equivalent, computer skills, and bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish).

Front Desk Floater
