Business Office Manager

Job Description

Business Office Manager oversees day to day activities of the business Office. Responsible for patient billing and collections, third-party payer relations, filing insurance claims, posting daily deposits along with daily and monthly close of business, maintains patient accounting system. Comply with regulatory requirements and government regulations. Assists in department budget preparation, generates various reports, and review of departmental financial statements. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Manages business office staff of 8 in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.

 

Job Requirements

Strong communication and customer service skills are required. This position requires at least five years of medical billing experience, with at least 3 years supervisory experience. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Practice Management software and electronic billing is essential.(currently on Greenway Intergy PM and Practice Analytics) Medical Business Office experience required.

Job Requirements

  • Associates of Applied Science Degree or equivalent training/graduation from an accredited school of radiology
  • Current Texas Department of State Health Service license
  • Mammography certification with the America Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
  • One year’s experience in a fast paced breast center preferred.

Job Description

Looking for a committed, hardworking individual to add to our front desk team. In addition to being detailed oriented, the applicants must have a dynamic and professional personality with our patients and staff, have the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, and multi-task.

This position is responsible for registration, check-in, co-pay collections, front desk donations, and back-up for posting charges and other front desk payments.

  • Must have 2 years medical front desk check-in experience and 2 years experience with medical terminology.

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Call Attendant - Southeast Location

Looking for a full-time medical office call attendant for our Southeast location, located at 12700 N. Featherwood Dr. Candidate must be reliable, show a high level of professionalism and exhibit good communication and customer service skills.  Must be able to problem solve and multi-task, exhibit good telephone technique, and have a basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Required skills also include medical office scheduling, computer and organizational skills, and must pay close attention to detail and work well within a team. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, and have at least three years experience answering calls and working at a medical office.  High School Diploma or equivalent required.
