Registered Mammography Technologist

Seeking a full-time registered mammography technologist to join our team at The Rose Galleria located off Loop 610 near Westpark. Requirements include an Associates of Applied Science Degree or equivalent training/graduation from an accredited school of radiology, a current Texas Department of State Health Service license, a mammography certification with the America Registry of Radiologic Technologist, and a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification. Community Engagement Navigator-Lufkin/Nacogdoches area

This position is responsible for engaging new community partners interested in providing breast health services to their clients, initiating program-promotion strategies and delivering outreach and education resources to both insured and uninsured women in the defined service area. The navigator will work out of their home and will provide services throughout the extended service area. A two year Associate’s Degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. At least one year of experience in education and outreach is required. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Access. Excellent communication skills are required. Benefits and a matching 401(k) are available. The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) is providing partial support for this position.

Grant Writer

Responsibilities

The Grant Writer is responsible for developing materials and writing proposals to corporate foundations, foundations and governmental entities to secure financial resources for The Rose. This position works closely with the Chief Development Officer to ensure that all grants accurately convey the mission and vision of The Rose; meet revenue goals, and to constantly evaluate ways to improve upon all grant proposals.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Prefer two to four years of fund development experience.
  • Demonstrated success in proposal submissions.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong grant writing skills.
  • Ability to independently develop well-written proposals based on prospect interest and The Rose’s strategic objectives.
  • Knowledge of the techniques and tools available for foundation and corporation research.
  • Ability to research prospects.
  • Full working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Initiates and has the ability to work independently.
  • Organized, energetic, flexible, detail-oriented and computer proficient.

Scheduler, Galleria Location

Seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced scheduler to join our team. Candidates must present a courteous and professional image on the phone and in person. This position answers phone calls from patients to schedule appointments, collects all necessary patient information needed prior to the appointment, gives patient instructions about the information required before the appointment and helps patients with any questions about our services and facilities. A high school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of medical office scheduling experience is required. Must possess computer skills and must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
