Claudia Cotes, MD
Radiologist, The Rose Galleria

Growing up in a family of doctors and being exposed to radiology from an early age, Dr. Claudia Cotes became inspired to follow the same path. Breast Imaging is the area of radiology she is passionate about and she is conscious of the high impact of an accurate diagnosis in each patient’s life; her desire to work in breast cancer imaging came as a result of her mother being a breast cancer survivor.

With Houston’s diverse population, Dr. Cotes is confident that there is an opportunity to cross cultural barriers relating to access to quality health care. As a radiologist at The Rose Galleria, having completed her breast imaging fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, her goal is to help all women, especially those in need. Her educational background includes a medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. She completed her internship in General Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at UTMB.

In addition to being fluent in Spanish, Dr. Cotes brings her passion for the cause, a strong dedication to her patients, and a commitment to help save even more lives.

Patrick P. Lertdilok, MD
Diagnostic Radiologist, The Rose Galleria

A passion for technology and an early recognition of medicine as a means to make a difference in the world placed Dr. Patrick P. Lertdilok on his path to becoming The Rose’s newest diagnostic radiologist. Lertdilok received his MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. The choice of radiology was a nod to his fascination with technology and a breast imaging specialty allowed him to pull away from the computer screen and engage with his patients. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and his Breast Imaging Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Since graduating, Lertdilok has served as a diagnostic radiologist at Women’s Radiology Associates, LLP, The Woman’s Hospital of Texas and Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. However, as Lertdilok had opportunities to engage with The Rose he discovered the distinction between private practice and nonprofit worlds, and made his next career move. Two of Lertdilok’s aunts were diagnosed with breast cancer, which was one of his reasons for choosing The Rose. One passed away and the other is in remission. As a result, Lertdilok is especially proud of the relationships he is able to have with patients at The Rose.
